God created man to be in a personal relationship with Him. He then created woman to be in a personal relationship with man (Genesis 2). This is why we innately crave and actively pursue relationships to this day. We actively pursue personal relationships with family, friends, and new acquaintances, but do we actively pursue a personal relationship with God as He intended? The proof is in the action. How much effort do you make pursuing earthly relationships including the time you spend on texting, phone calls, and social media? Now compare that to the daily effort you make and the time you spend pursuing a personal relationship with God. What’s your conclusion? We were created to be in a personal relationship with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Do you really want to miss this?
