It's The Night Before Christmas

It’s the night before Christmas and all the shopping is done.

It’s time to stop stressing and reach for the Son.

Don’t let the world distract you from Him.

Losing sight of the Light would be a shame and a sin.

The true meaning of Christmas is not money well spent.

It’s the free gift of the Son, who the Father has sent.

So tonight let’s remember the reason we sing.

It’s to celebrate the birth of our Savior and King!

Author’s comments: Luke 2:8-12 (NLT) says, “That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep.  Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them.  They were terrified, but the angel reassured them.  ‘Don’t be afraid!’ he said.  ‘I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.  The Savior—yes the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!  And you will recognize him by this sign:  You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.’”

The savior’s birth is the Truth and tomorrow we celebrate.  Don’t miss this opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus Christ today, tomorrow, and everyday!
